The TotalEnergies trading Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity to discover the inner workings of multi-energy trading, develop strong technical skills and build a global understanding of our businesses and the value chain.

A structured journey at the core of our activities

Lasting two years, the Graduate Program is built around four six-month assignments within our main trading hubs — Geneva, Houston and Singapore.

Participants successively explore three key functions in trading:

  • Middle Office
  • Trading Operations
  • Market Analysis

A fourth assignment is defined according to individual interests and business needs, with the possibility of an international rotation — a distinctive advantage of the program.

This immersive journey provides a comprehensive view of the trading value chain and deepens the understanding of how teams interact.

It also offers exposure to the diversity of our multi-energy portfolio, through assignments that may involve oil, natural gas, or low-carbon power.

The program includes a structured training path: onboarding week, technical and behavioral training, negotiation techniques, on-the-job learning, mentoring by our Talent Developers, and regular follow-up throughout the experience.
