What we do: optimizing global energy flows

Every day, our teams operate on international energy markets, contributing to the transport and marketing of millions of barrels of oil, LNG cargoes, and terawatt-hours of electricity.

From our three hubs—Geneva, Houston, and Singapore—we connect production, transformation, and consumption, adjust portfolios in real time, secure supply, and manage market risks.

Trading is an essential lever to optimize and secure the value chain of all our energies. At TotalEnergies, our trading teams work concretely toward making energy more affordable, more available, and more sustainable.

Our expertise in oil, gas, power, and shipping

We operate across the entire energy value chain: from oil to biofuels, LNG to biomethane, electricity to renewables, including shipping for transporting our cargoes.

  • Biofuels and bio-feedstocks in oil,
  • Biomethane and hydrogen in gas,
  • Renewable energy and flexibility in electricity,
  • Alternative marine fuels.

Each transaction contributes to finding the right balance between supply security, economic performance, and energy transition.
